Lynn Weinberg, founder of Professional Audiology Associates, Inc., has been a practicing audiologist since 1996. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from Sweetbriar College in Sweet Briar, Virginia, her master's degree in Audiology from East Carolina University in Greenville in, North Carolina in 1996 and her clinical doctorate (Au.D.) in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona in 2002. Prior to her career move to audiology she served as a director of rental operations for a large property management firm in Richmond, Virginia where Lynn is from originally. Lynn moved to South Florida in 1996 after accepting a position working with a neuro-otologist at an ENT office where she earned the title of senior audiologist in 1998. In January 2005, Lynn opened Professional Audiology Associates, Inc. fulfilling a long term dream. Her areas of interest include diagnostic audiology, aural rehabilitation and hearing aid dispensing, with previous experience in vestibular assessment and cochlear implant programming. Lynn serves as a corporate member to the Jupiter Medical Center and is a committee member for Saks Fifth Ave Key to The Cure.
Elana Walker has been a practicing audiologist since 2002. She earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders: Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado, her master's degree in Audiology from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon in June 2002 and her clinical doctorate (Au.D.) from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry's School of Audiology in December 2006. Elana's areas of interest include aural rehabilitation, hearing aid dispensing and diagnostic audiology, with previous experience in vestibular assessment and cochlear implant programming. Both Lynn and Elana are licensed by the state of Florida and hold national certification through the American Speech Language and hearing Association (ASHA). In addition they both hold memberships with the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), ASHA, the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists (ADA), and the Florida Academy of Audiology (FLAA).
